Donald Curran
Biography: (born 1955) Studied at the Kansas City Art Institute.
Memberships include National Oil and Acrylic Painters' Society, the
American Society of Marine Artists, the Oil Painters of America St.
Louis Artists' Guild. Exhibitions include the American Society of
Marine Artists, Salon International, Greenhouse Gallery of Fine Art, San
Antonio, Oil Painters of America, Whistle Pik Galleries, Fredericksburg,
Texas, Maritime Gallery at Mystic Seaport, Ct., Allied Artists of
America National Exhibition, National Arts Club, NY, International
Museum of Contemporary Art, Cincinnati Art Club, Main Street Perry
Gallery, Perry, Fl., St. Louis Artists' Guild, Won three awards from the
National Oil and Acrylic Painters' Society. In both 2001 and 2002, was
commissioned to do three paintings for the 2002 Winter Olympic Games in
Salt Lake City, Utah. Known for designing and illustrating high end
collectible steins for Anheuser- Busch, Inc.
