(1896-1978) Studied at ASL, NAD, Grande Chaumiere in Paris, with J F Carlson, R. Miller, G. Bridgman, C. Chapman and Charles Hawthorne. Memberships include SC, North Shore AA, Gloucester AA, Rockport AA, All. Artists Am., Longboat Key AA, Sarasota AA, Grand Central Art Gal., Rochester AA, Audubon Artists, Northern Vermont Artists, New Haven PCC, CAFA, Meriden Arts & Crafts, St. Augustine AA, Academic Artists, Woodstock AA.  Exhibitions includes the above membership listings and also at NAD, All. Artists Am., AIC, Salmagundi Club, Bridgeport AA, Jordan Marsh, Miami Beach AC, Findlay Gallery, Lieber Gal., JL Hudson Gal., Brodhead Gal., Champlain Valley Exhib., McNichols Gal, and elsewhere.  Works in the LA Mus. Art, Witte Mem. Mus., Univ. Idaho, Webber Coll., Smith Coll., San Antonio Mus., New Haven PCC, DeCordova & Dana Mus., White House (in Wash. DC), Silverman Coll., Montclair Art Mus., Mechanics Inst., Greenbrier Coll., Speed Mus.
