Duane Wakeham:  Studied at the Michigan State Univ. (BA, 1959), Stanford Univ. (MA, drawing, painting, 1961) and the Meinzinger Commercial Art School in Detroit.  Awarded Best Landscape by the Assoc. of Honolulu Artists (1954), included in Artists of Hawaii Exhib., Honolulu Acad. of Art, 1954.  Other exhibitions include: Michigan WCS, Michigan Artists Annual, Detroit Inst. of Arts, Ankrum Gallery, LA., George Beicher Gallery, SF., Gallery 30, San Mateo, Met. State College, Denver, Hackett Freedman Gallery, SF., and others.  Taught at several colleges.
