Auctioneer's Note: There has been
some question regarding the authenticity of the signature of this work.
I am not an expert on signatures and cannot say for sure if she signed
this or not. I will point out a painting executed by Ada and in
the collection of Arthur Egeli of the Egeli Gallery in Provincetown of
artists painting on the beach in Provincetown. So she has painted
this subject matter in another painting. To view the painting, go
the the website for the Cape School of Art and scroll down to see the
painting owned by Arthur Egeli. As they say in this business,
buyer beware and I make no warranties or guarantees in regard to this.
