Member of Salmagundi Club, PAAM, Grand Central Art Gallery, Boston Guild of Artists.  Exhibits include: PAFA (1929-30, 1932), NAD (1930-Hallgarten prize), Corcoran Gallery biennials 1928-37 (5 exhibits), AIC, PAAM, Mint. Mus. Art, Jordan Marsh, Boston, Evanston AA, Oklahoma AA.  Works at Chrysler Collection, Harvard Club, NY, Oklahoma Museum, Mint. Mus. Art, and others. Also painted numerous landscapes, still-lifes and portraits in Louisiana. Extremely well listed artist.  His birth date, although proof showing he was born in 1899, he wished it known that he was born in 1901 and that is what is on his grave stone in Truro.

(born 1928)  Israeli artist and sculptor with worldwide fame, best known for his optical and kinetic art.  Studied at Acad. of Art and Design, Jerusalem.  First solo exhibition was at Galerie Graven (1953, Paris) which established him as a leading pioneer of the Le Mouvement.  He showed alongside artist like Alexander Calder.  Worldwide musems and collections include his work.  In 1996, was awarded the Jan Amos Comenius Medal by UNESCO.

   (1903 - 1959)  Studied with his father, Harry C. Whorf, and at Botolphe Studio with Sherman Kid, 1917, also BMFA with Wm. Hale and Philip Hale and in Provincetown with Charles Hawthorne, Max Bohm, Richard Miller and George Elmer Browne, Gerrit Beneker and E. Webster, plus others here and in Paris.  Also studied with John Singer Sargent in Boston, 1925 (Who's Who in American Art says 1925-26, but John Singer Sargent died in 1925).  Member of: ANA, NA 1947, AWCS, The Beachcombers and PAAM.
