Annual Academy of Design (1948) as referenced in Josephine Del Deo's book,
"Figures in a Landscape: The Life and Times of the American Painter, Ross
Moffett, 1888-1971" page 258. In original frame either carved or picked out by
Moffett himself, but the consignor (original owner) is not absolutely sure of
that (carving that is). There is minor cracking and 3 small paint chips.
