This painting was purchased over 30 years ago at an estate sale at the Philbrook Museum of Art in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The consignor purchased it there and it has been in his private collection ever since. There has been no restoration on the painting. Since the canvas is glued to the board, it is impossible to ascertain if there is an actual signature on the verso. There is no signature on the front of the painting.
